F&B Commis Chef – Culinary

About the role

Join Marina Bay Sands as an F&B Commis Chef and support the culinary team in delivering high‑quality food experiences. You will work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment, following established recipes and standards while developing your culinary skills.

Key responsibilities

• Follow directions from Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs, completing tasks within the assigned time frame.
• Adapt to business needs, working any day of the week and any shift.
• Monitor food production to ensure compliance with recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
• Maintain sanitation, apply FIFO inventory practices, and store food items correctly.
• Keep workstations clean, ensure safe equipment use, and report maintenance defects.
• Participate in company trainings and uphold the organisation’s health, safety, and fire procedures.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts.
• 1–3 years of experience in a culinary environment.
• Ability to identify raw materials, differentiate cuisines, and follow basic cooking and sanitary procedures.
• Professional appearance and willingness to work shift patterns.
