F&B Operation Assistant Manager / Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive F&B Operation Assistant Manager to lead our West Coast restaurant and supermarket operations. You will ensure high service standards, maintain a safe environment, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic Japanese retail and F&B setting.

Key responsibilities

• Train and supervise restaurant staff to deliver exceptional service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑kept store environment.
• Create a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere for diners.
• Oversee food presentation and product displays to meet food safety and health regulations.
• Gather and act on customer feedback to improve food quality and service.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Report incidents, accidents, or significant feedback to superiors.
• Perform cashier duties as needed.
• Place purchase orders with suppliers to ensure adequate inventory.
• Prepare and manage the duty roster for the service team.
• Support daily operations for smooth service flow.
• Monitor supermarket inventory levels and ensure essential products are stocked.
• Keep supermarket shelves well‑stocked, displays neat, correctly priced, and safely arranged.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the F&B industry.
• Good personal hygiene practices.
• Possess a valid food hygiene certificate.
• Ability to maintain quality, excellent service and cleanliness at all times.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.
