About the role
Maintain a full set of accounts and ensure timely month‑end and year‑end closing. Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
Key responsibilities
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Handle monthly payroll and staff claim reimbursements.
- Coordinate annual external audits and prepare audit schedules with supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements and internal control procedures.
Required profile
- Diploma in Accountancy or related discipline.
- Experience managing full‑set accounts, payroll and GST reporting.
- Experience supporting external audits and statutory submissions.
- Prior experience in the childcare industry preferred.
- High level of integrity and professionalism when handling confidential information.
