Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Finance Manager to support the Head of Finance in overseeing day‑to‑day financial operations of our global media agency. The role involves month‑end closing, budgeting, forecasting and partnering with cross‑functional teams to drive process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head of Finance in managing daily finance operations and ensuring smooth financial processes.
• Lead the month‑end closing process, delivering accurate and timely financial reports.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts and financial statements while monitoring performance and highlighting variances.
• Review contracts and commercial agreements to identify financial risks and ensure policy alignment.
• Coordinate tax, compliance, audit and regulatory activities with external advisors and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare financial analyses to support business planning, operational decisions and new initiatives.
• Lead or support finance‑related projects such as process improvements, system implementations and automation.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to improve cost tracking, financial processes and reporting accuracy.
• Support strategic initiatives, ad‑hoc analyses and other business priorities as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance or financial reporting.
• Experience supporting US‑based finance operations, preferably from a Big Four accounting firm.
• Proven experience managing month‑end closing and preparing financial statements.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance and audit requirements.
• CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for reporting and analysis.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
