Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to lead financial reporting, controllership and governance across our regional operations. The role sits at the intersection of technical accounting, finance transformation and business partnership, supporting growth in multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly and annual close process, group consolidation and statutory reporting in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Manage technical accounting matters, including policy development, complex transaction accounting and intercompany reconciliations.
• Strengthen internal controls and finance governance by improving processes, SOPs and driving automation.
• Partner with Treasury, Tax, Legal and regional business teams to support expansion, new entity setup and strategic finance initiatives.
• Lead, mentor and develop the regional controllership team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting or controllership, preferably with multi‑entity consolidations.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent) and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, group consolidation and technical accounting, with experience preparing accounting position papers.
• Proven leadership experience driving finance transformation, process optimisation and ERP implementation.
• Fluent English and written/spoken Chinese to collaborate across Chinese‑speaking markets.
