Financial Controller – SGX Listed Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Financial Controller to lead the finance function of a Singapore‑headquartered, SGX‑listed manufacturing business. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Board, you will shape the finance agenda, strengthen governance and build a scalable foundation for growth during a period of transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead accounting, treasury, tax, budgeting, forecasting and financial control activities.
• Partner with the CEO, senior leadership team and Board on financial strategy and performance.
• Oversee SGX reporting, statutory compliance, corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives, including ERP implementation, chart‑of‑accounts redesign and process improvements.
• Review and enhance financial processes, systems and reporting frameworks for efficiency and scalability.
• Provide leadership, coaching and development to the finance team.
• Support performance management and business‑partnering to aid operational and commercial decisions.
• Maintain financial discipline while supporting organisational change.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
• Senior finance leadership experience (CFO, Finance Director or equivalent).
• Proven SGX reporting experience.
• Recent experience in manufacturing, industrial or operationally complex businesses.
• Resilient, adaptable and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
• Hands‑on approach with a track record of stabilising and transforming finance functions.
• Prior Big 4 training is a plus.
• Immediate availability or a maximum one‑month notice period.
