About the role
We are looking for a diligent Food Lab Assistant to support practical lessons in our food laboratory. The role involves preparing ingredients, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring the lab runs smoothly during school hours.
Key responsibilities
- Cut and portion ingredients for NFS practical lessons.
- Store food properly and uphold food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the food lab.
- Check cookers, gas supply, and manage rubbish disposal after lessons.
- Perform inventory checks and stock‑taking of consumables.
- Assist with food ordering, deliveries, and project food preparation.
- Carry out any additional duties assigned by teachers.
Required profile
- PSLE certificate.
- Completed SFA Food Safety Course Level 1.
- Minimum of one year relevant experience in a food‑service or laboratory setting.
Required skills
- Food safety handling.
