Food Services Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Food Services Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of our food service outlets in Singapore. The role involves overseeing performance, ensuring food quality and safety, controlling costs, and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and overall performance of food service outlets.
• Develop and implement operational procedures, service standards, and best practices.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate outlet managers, supervisors, and service crew.
• Plan manpower deployment, staff schedules, and shift arrangements.
• Monitor sales, operating costs, labour costs, food costs, and profitability.
• Develop strategies to achieve sales targets and improve outlet performance.
• Monitor inventory levels, purchasing, stock usage, food wastage, and cost control.
• Ensure food quality, consistency, presentation, and service standards.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, workplace safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular outlet inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints, and develop service recovery measures.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate employees to build a high‑performing team.
• Analyse operational reports and KPIs to identify improvement areas.
• Collaborate with management on business planning, promotions, and new initiatives.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments for procurement and supply operations.
• Support opening, renovation, or expansion of new outlets as needed.
• Prepare regular operational and performance reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in food & beverage or food service operations.
• Experience managing multiple outlets or large food service teams (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of food service operations, manpower planning, inventory management, and cost control.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety requirements.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
