Founding Forward-Deployed Engineer – AI Agent Systems

About the role

Join Zenbase as a founding forward‑deployed engineer focused on building and operating autonomous AI‑agent systems. You will work closely with customers to deploy, configure, and optimise AI‑agent campaigns that drive business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and run autonomous AI‑agent campaigns, handling prompt design, role‑context, audience segmentation, routing, retry policies and cadence governance.
• Deploy Zenbase’s AI‑agent stack into client environments, managing integrations, calendar/workspace setup, go‑live and activation.
• Perform production QA, troubleshoot system and agent‑behaviour issues, and collaborate with engineering for platform‑level fixes.
• Maintain AI and data compliance controls, covering PDPA, DNC, CEA advertising and AI‑disclosure requirements.
• Optimise AI‑system performance, focusing on token efficiency, model‑tier selection, call routing and retry strategies.
• Document deployment playbooks and operating procedures, providing structured feedback to product and engineering teams.

Required profile

• Professional‑level experience in deploying and operating AI‑driven systems.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on production quality and compliance.
• Ability to work closely with customers and internal engineering teams.
