FP&A Manager

About the role

Airwallex is looking for an FP&A Manager to join its AWX Finance team. As a member of the Finance & Strategy team, you will support the financial planning and analysis function across Airwallex globally, helping provide strategic financial insights, analyse business performance and contribute to decision-making. You report to the Associate Director FP&A and work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting, ensuring accuracy and consistency to meet Airwallex's short- and long-term goals
• Maintain and update reports, models and dashboards used for regular financial reporting to stakeholders
• Analyse KPIs and financial data and provide insights and reports on areas of concern to business partners
• Work with stakeholders and business partners on in-depth financial analysis to manage costs, find optimisation opportunities and evaluate division profitability
• Help enhance the management reporting system and collaborate with finance teams on projects and process improvements

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent advanced finance qualification preferred
• Prior experience or understanding of financial services and fintech businesses is a plus
• Attention to detail, analytical approach, and ability to turn complex financial data into clear insights
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of financial analysis and planning, including budgeting, forecasting, cost allocations, accounting principles and financial modelling
• Proficiency with G-Suite, Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet tools
• Advantageous: SQL, data visualisation tools, financial software and management reporting systems
