Front Office Guest Services Agent

About the role

The Front Office Guest Services Agent delivers memorable experiences for guests throughout their stay at The Ritz‑Carlton Millenia Singapore. You will be the first point of contact, handling check‑in and check‑out, providing local information and ensuring smooth operational flow.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest check‑ins and check‑outs, verify credit, cash or deposit payments, and manage the cash drawer securely.
• Handle reservation policies, including cancellations, guarantees, deposits, wait‑lists and special requests.
• Operate key machines to program electronic employee keys and manage room assignments.
• Answer telephone calls within three rings using proper etiquette and provide accurate property information.
• Document and process wake‑up calls and maintain workstation cleanliness.
• Provide guests with directions, maps and recommendations for local attractions, restaurants and events.
• Follow all safety, confidentiality and uniform standards while remaining on your feet for extended periods.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or sit for long periods and lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Professional appearance, strong communication skills and adherence to company policies.
• Attention to detail, confidentiality and commitment to a safe workplace.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including night duties.
