Full Stack Developer (Java/JavaScript)

About the role

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to join a product‑focused engineering team within a leading technology and communications organisation. You will design and develop scalable applications and services, working across both backend and frontend technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance scalable software applications and backend services.
• Design and build APIs and modular microservices.
• Create web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Improve system design, performance, and reliability.
• Integrate applications with internal and external systems.
• Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and work with containerised environments.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams on new solutions.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Java (Java 17 or higher) and Spring Boot.
• Front‑end experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience building microservices and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Kafka.
• Experience with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and relational SQL databases.
• Practical knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and strong problem‑solving skills.
