Full Stack Developer (Mobile Web App / PWA)

About the role

Activate Interactive, a technology consultancy in Singapore, is hiring a Full Stack Developer for a 12-month fixed-term contract at its Singpost office in Paya Lebar. You will help build a mobile web application / progressive web app (PWA) in an agile, DevOps-driven environment, integrating frontend, backend and cloud infrastructure within a secure government environment.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to end-to-end application development, integrating frontend, backend and cloud infrastructure
• Develop and maintain responsive, accessible and performant web applications
• Implement modern frontend architectures with React Native, and build high-performance backend services and APIs
• Support WhatsApp Business API integration and conduct unit, integration and API testing
• Take part in code reviews and maintain high software quality standards
• Use SHIP/HATS platforms for secure development, testing and deployment, and deploy applications in Government Commercial Cloud (GCC)
• Ensure security, authentication, authorization and API security, and follow IM8 security controls and government compliance requirements

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline
• Minimum 4 years of full-stack web development experience with demonstrable projects
• Strong frontend and backend skills, Git and modern branching workflows (GitFlow, trunk-based development)
• React Native mobile app development (required)
• Experience with Figma for wireframing and prototyping

Required skills

• JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, Vue.js, Angular or Svelte; UI libraries such as Material-UI, Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap
• Node.js, Express.js or NestJS; optionally Ruby on Rails, Spring Boot, Django, FastAPI or Golang
• RESTful APIs, GraphQL, gRPC and WebSockets; Redis, Varnish, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Jenkins)
• AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, and GCC environment
• Security (CSP, CORS, XSS, OAuth, JWT), APM tools (Datadog, New Relic, Sentry, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry) and logging (ELK, Loki, Fluentd)
• Testing (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, Supertest)
