Full Stack Developer (React Native, Node.js, GCC)

About the role

Activate Interactive, a technology consultancy in Singapore, is hiring a Full Stack Developer for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will contribute to the end-to-end development of a mobile web application / progressive web app (PWA), integrating frontend, backend and cloud infrastructure in an agile, DevOps-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, accessible and performant web applications
• Build modern frontend architectures with React Native, and high-performance backend services and APIs
• Integrate WhatsApp Business API and conduct unit, integration and API testing
• Take part in code reviews and maintain high software quality
• Use SHIP/HATS platforms for secure development, testing and deployment, and deploy applications in Government Commercial Cloud (GCC)
• Implement security controls (authentication, authorization, API security, IM8) and follow secure coding practices
• Ensure compliance with government security and data protection requirements

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline
• At least 4 years of full-stack web development experience with demonstrable projects
• Strong frontend and backend skills, Git and modern branching workflows
• React Native mobile development (required)
• Experience with Figma for wireframing and prototyping

Required skills

• JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, Vue.js, Angular or Svelte
• Node.js, Express.js or NestJS; optionally Ruby on Rails, Spring Boot, Django, FastAPI or Golang
• RESTful APIs, GraphQL, gRPC, WebSockets, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Jenkins)
• AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, and GCC environment
• Unit and integration testing (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, Supertest)
• APM tools (Datadog, New Relic, Sentry, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry) and logging (ELK, Loki, Fluentd)
