Full Stack Engineer (Tableau)

About the role

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with hands‑on Tableau Server experience to design, develop and support digital applications, analytics platforms and system integrations for Capgemini. The role spans frontend, backend and Tableau components, ensuring robust, scalable solutions that meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Set up, configure, administer and maintain Tableau Server across relevant environments.
• Manage Tableau Server configuration, upgrades, user access, permissions, data source connectivity and platform settings.
• Monitor Tableau Server health, availability and performance, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Support integration of Tableau with enterprise applications, databases and data sources.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and other system integrations.
• Build frontend components using ReactJS and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, deployment and production issue resolution.
• Contribute to code reviews, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain system configurations, technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with product, business, design, data and engineering teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Hands‑on experience with Tableau Server setup, configuration, administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing Tableau Server access, permissions, data source connectivity and upgrades.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java or Python.
• Experience with modern web development frameworks such as ReactJS.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, web services and system integration.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git, testing and CI/CD practices.
