Full Stack Java Backend Engineer – Cloud Native & Kubernetes

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on backend engineering to join the Paragon K8aaS engineering team. You will work on designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud‑native services that power our platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based backend services and REST APIs using Spring Boot.
• Build and support cloud‑native applications running on Kubernetes, including Helm chart management.
• Implement event‑driven architectures with Apache Kafka.
• Participate in architecture discussions and platform engineering initiatives for K8aaS.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, SREs, and product teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues, provide on‑call support, and optimize performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation, ensuring best coding, security, and quality practices.
