Full-time Cello Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate full-time Cello Teacher to deliver individual and group lessons at our premium music academy. The role involves tailoring instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels, fostering musical growth and confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct one‑on‑one and group cello lessons customized to each student’s needs.
• Teach music theory and aural skills from Grade 1 to Grade 5.
• Develop and adapt lesson plans and curriculum to achieve learning objectives.
• Prepare students for ABRSM examinations, recitals, concerts, festivals and competitions.
• Promote string instruments to parents and support operational tasks as required.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Cello performance.
• At least two years of teaching experience with students of all skill levels.
• Strong knowledge of music theory, repertoire and performance techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Passion for inspiring students to reach their full potential.

Required skills

• Piano accompaniment (preferred).
