FX Advisor - AVP

About the role

The FX Advisor (AVP level) will support OCBC’s customers in navigating foreign‑exchange markets and making informed decisions on international transactions. You will act as a trusted adviser, delivering tailored solutions that align with clients’ financial goals while contributing to the growth of the bank’s FX business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on foreign‑exchange transactions, market trends and product offerings.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and objectives.
• Analyse market data and trends to identify opportunities and risks for clients.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and implement FX strategies.
• Stay current with market developments, regulatory changes and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Degree in finance, economics or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within a bank or financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of foreign‑exchange markets and products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
