Global Head of QMS & Compliance

About the role

The Global Head of QMS & Compliance will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of quality management systems across Asia and other regions. Reporting to the Global VP of Quality Management, this senior leader will drive manufacturing excellence and ensure compliance with global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Spearhead strategic review and rollout of enhanced QMS for Asia and beyond.
• Support manufacturing re‑engineering initiatives to optimize equipment utilization and stabilize the global QMS framework.
• Analyse critical quality control issues and implement continuous process improvements for manufacturing sites in SEA and the USA.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional leaders in Product Management, Engineering and Manufacturing to streamline product acceptance testing and improve production yield.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and develop efficient CAPA inspection and reporting methods to reduce batch release issues.

Required profile

• Based in Singapore or Malaysia, permanent residency.
• Bachelor’s degree with 10–15 years of experience in end‑to‑end manufacturing, international engineering or business management within a complex, high‑mix low‑volume precision manufacturing environment.
• Proven solution‑oriented mindset and ability to navigate a matrix organization.
• Strong hands‑on experience driving quality excellence and QMS implementation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for influencing global and regional stakeholders.
• Good understanding of SAP or equivalent ERP systems (highly preferred).
