Global Internship Programme – Marketing & Inventory Control

About the role

UNIQLO Singapore offers a 9+1 week internship for Year 3 or 4 university students, combining 9 weeks at the Singapore headquarters and store with a final week at the Global Headquarters in Tokyo. The internship focuses on solving a specific marketing and inventory control issue at the Suntec City Mall store, and successful interns enter the UMC hiring pipeline for the next season. Up to 5 candidates are selected.

Key responsibilities

• Solve a specific marketing and inventory control problem faced by the Suntec City Mall store
• Create a project timeline with specific targets, identify stakeholders and engage them to agree on a solution
• Work at both the Singapore headquarters and the store, alternating 2 days in the store, 3 days at headquarters and 2 days off each week
• Deliver a final presentation to management in the fourth week of July

Required profile

• Year 3 or 4 university student
• Strong motivation and passion, assessed in the first interview
• Ability to work with diverse people and understand operations

What we offer

• Internship allowance of SGD 1,000 per month
• Laptop provided
• Flight and accommodation costs covered during the week in Japan (no allowance during that period)

The selection process includes an online test and essay, followed by interviews with a target of 3 to 5 candidates for the final round. The internship runs from 3 June to late July, with the Japan week from 28 July to 3 August.
