Global Safety & Security Manager

About the role

The Global Safety & Security Team supports Datadog’s rapid growth by keeping employees, assets and workplaces safe and productive. Reporting to the Global Head of Safety & Security, this role leads safety and security operations across APAC and collaborates with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day global safety and security operations for Datadog’s regional offices in APAC, including co‑working locations and assist with global initiatives.
• Oversee investigations, health and safety compliance, security risk management, travel safety, event security, budgeting, crisis management, emergency response, property loss management and system management.
• Document and disseminate security protocols, develop regional policies, technical solutions, safety protocols, emergency‑preparedness training and liaise with local law enforcement.
• Collaborate with Office Operations, Real Estate, IT, Legal, Events and People to ensure alignment and training on emergency plans.
• Execute daily operations and strategic initiatives for workplace safety and security, manage contract security personnel, and respond to incidents.
• Identify long‑term organizational needs, develop strategic plans, obtain executive approval and execute milestones.
• Provide assessments and briefings to leadership on corrective actions and facilitate tabletop exercises for emergency preparedness.

Required profile

• 8+ years experience in corporate physical security and safety roles within a global environment, especially in APAC.
• Proven experience managing safety and security operations in fast‑paced technology companies.
• Experience building and scaling regional and global safety and security programs.
• Knowledge of global technical security monitoring systems and physical security design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially with executives.
• Vendor management experience with external security providers.
