Group Accountant – Consolidation & Reporting

About the role

The Group Accountant will join the finance team of a global logistics and shipping organisation based in Singapore. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role focuses on preparing consolidation schedules, intercompany reconciliations and group financial reporting packages.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidation schedules and group financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and consolidation adjustments.
• Compile reporting packages for statutory audits and support auditors.
• Collaborate with Group Finance, subsidiary finance teams and external auditors to ensure accurate group reporting.
• Assist with head‑office accounting activities and contribute to process, control and system improvements.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 3–8 years of experience in group consolidation, financial reporting, audit or corporate finance.
• Practical experience preparing consolidated financial statements and intercompany reconciliations.
• Familiarity with IFRS reporting standards.
• Experience in a holding company, diversified group or audit firm is preferred.
