Guest Relations Manager

About the role

Temper Wine Room & Lounge, located at Mondrian Hotel Duxton, is seeking a Guest Relations Manager to own the end‑to‑end guest experience. You will lead reservations, guest communications and a small team, ensuring every visit reflects Temper’s unique character.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full guest journey, from booking to farewell, using SevenRooms for reservations and CRM.
• Lead, train and supervise the Guest Relations Executive, maintaining consistent service standards.
• Personally welcome VIP and regular guests, building rapport and delivering personalised service.
• Handle guest feedback, requests and service recovery situations promptly and professionally.
• Maintain and refine guest profiles and preferences within SevenRooms.
• Collaborate with management to optimise seating flow, covers and revenue targets.
• Coordinate with service and bar teams to ensure guest expectations are met.
• Support planning and execution of private events, bookings and special occasions.
• Monitor guest satisfaction trends and provide feedback for service improvements.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in guest relations, reservations or front‑of‑house management in a restaurant, bar or hospitality setting.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a small team.
• Highly organised with strong multitasking skills, especially during busy service periods.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and public holidays, with Sundays off.
• Passion for hospitality, wine and creating memorable guest experiences.

Required skills

• Experience with SevenRooms or similar reservation/CRM platforms.
