Guest Service Executive

About the role

The Guest Service Executive will be the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival to departure. This junior‑level position is based at our Singapore campus and involves close collaboration with housekeeping, reservations and other operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver professional guest service throughout check‑in, check‑out and the in‑house stay.
• Manage room inventory, assignments and availability to optimise occupancy and upselling opportunities.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to guarantee timely room readiness.
• Lead daily pre‑shift briefings for the Front Office team, communicating updates, VIP arrivals and service priorities.
• Handle group arrivals and departures in partnership with Reservations.
• Respond promptly to guest enquiries, emails, requests and feedback, ensuring appropriate follow‑up and service recovery.
• Anticipate guest needs, resolve issues with sound judgement and propose suitable alternatives.
• Escalate significant operational issues and guest concerns to the Guest Service Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE O Level qualification; Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
• Customer‑oriented attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
• Strong organisational, multitasking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to motivate a team.
• Detail‑oriented, adaptable and able to remain composed under pressure.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
