Head of Data, APAC

About the role

We are a global leader in maritime data intelligence seeking a Head of Data for the APAC region. This senior position will build and run the data and analytics function across Asia Pacific, reporting directly to regional leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead the APAC data and analytics function from the ground up.
• Manage a team of 3‑5 direct reports and act as the senior data voice in the region.
• Own the quality, validation and construction of datasets that power our products.
• Shape commercial decisions by developing and presenting data‑driven plans.
• Represent data expertise to clients, collaborating with sales and product teams.

Required profile

• Proven leadership of teams handling large datasets in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, ingestion, processing and reporting.
• Ability to make the organisation AI‑ready and align regional functions with global operations.
• Experience leading teams through change and restructuring.
• Comfort operating across multiple locations and interacting with customers or stakeholders.
