Hotel Front Desk Officer

About the role

The Hotel Front Desk Officer will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming check‑in experience. Working on a rotating 12‑hour shift schedule, you will support the daily operations of a busy hotel across Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Manage front‑office duties including guest verification, check‑in/check‑out and updating room status.
• Perform cashiering tasks, prepare bills and close shifts accurately.
• Respond to guest enquiries via phone, email and in person at the desk.
• Assist with room reservations, inspections of public areas and coordination with housekeeping.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned to maintain efficient hotel operations.

Required profile

• Junior‑level candidate with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle cash transactions responsibly.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a customer‑service mindset.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour shifts on a six‑day work week.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy for reservation and billing systems.
