Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the daily housekeeping operations at Ibis Singapore Novena, ensuring the hotel meets the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The role involves overseeing staff, conducting inspections, and maintaining records in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all day‑to‑day housekeeping activities across guest rooms, floor pantries and public areas.
• Conduct systematic inspections to verify compliance with hotel cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Enforce housekeeping policies and procedures, ensuring all staff adhere to regulations.
• Investigate guest complaints, implement corrective actions and follow through to resolution.
• Maintain accurate housekeeping and maintenance records, including lost‑and‑found logs.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring proper stock levels and storage.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation within the department.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by hotel management.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of hotel housekeeping experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques and hygiene standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with housekeeping software.
• Basic competency in Microsoft Office applications.
