HR Executive – Payroll & Recruitment

About the role

The HR Executive will manage end‑to‑end payroll processing, recruitment, and employee administration for a construction engineering firm in Singapore. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and supports employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Process and administer monthly payroll for all staff.
• Handle recruitment activities: post ads, shortlist candidates, arrange interviews.
• Maintain employee database and personnel files.
• Process work passes, appointment letters, and insurance claims (hospital, surgical, work injury).
• Identify training needs through job analysis and consultations with department heads.
• Resolve employee grievances, discipline, and counsel staff and supervisors.
• Administer company insurance, medical claims, and manage worker accommodation.
• Liaise with government agencies (MOM, BCA) for surveys and regulatory compliance.
• Perform ad‑hoc HR duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Experience handling migrant workers is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Discreet handling of confidential information.
