HSE Coordinator – Construction & Engineering

About the role

The HSE Coordinator will support the WSH officer in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment across construction and engineering projects. This role focuses on risk management, incident investigation, and continuous improvement of safety practices.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the WSH officer in managing Workplace Safety, Health & Environmental matters.
• Ensure workplace compliance with Singapore WSH regulations.
• Conduct incident investigations and propose corrective actions.
• Coordinate and maintain records of site safety orientations and daily toolbox meetings.
• Develop and review risk assessments and safe work procedures.
• Perform site safety inspections and assessments.
• Coordinate emergency response activities, including scheduling, training, and program updates.

Required profile

• Diploma in HSE or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of the Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act.

Required skills

• Risk assessment and safe work procedure development.
• Incident investigation and corrective action planning.
• Site safety inspections and assessments.
• Emergency response coordination and training.
• Knowledge of WSH Act compliance requirements.
