Hub Service Planning Manager – Headhaul

About the role

The Hub Service Planning Manager will lead Cargo Flow Optimisation operators across Maersk’s largest transshipment hubs in Singapore and Tanjung Pelepas. You will ensure safe, cost‑efficient, and reliable transshipment operations that support customer promises throughout the Asia‑Pacific network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and inspire the Cargo Flow Optimisation team to achieve strong operational outcomes.
• Drive capacity planning decisions for efficient container loading and resilient cargo flows.
• Oversee critical cargo transshipment connections for Maersk vessels, maintaining network reliability.
• Manage operational contingencies quickly, focusing on customer impact and cost.
• Promote a cost‑conscious mindset and identify optimisation opportunities without compromising service quality.
• Partner with terminal operators to improve standards, feedback loops and performance.
• Contribute practical hub expertise to shape Maersk’s global standards.
• Ensure accurate, timely load, discharge and transshipment operations.
• Drive the technology agenda within the team to enable future‑ready ways of working.
