HVAC Research Scientist

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Scientist to join its R&D team in Singapore. The role focuses on advancing HVAC technologies and sustainable building solutions, working closely with internal business units and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor emerging technologies and generate innovations for Sustainable Building & HVAC solutions.
• Co‑create with internal units to define business needs and research requirements, shaping Bosch’s long‑term product portfolio.
• Conduct customer interviews, formulate problem statements, and develop innovation pitches and research proposals.
• Identify and build collaborations with leading local institutions and universities to foster outside‑in innovation.
• Maintain regular alignment with internal customers and strategic research portfolio owners, providing project updates and idea pitches through the Bosch Innovation Framework.
• Drive advanced research in HVAC technology for residential and commercial buildings, addressing both academic and industrial challenges.
