Indirect Procurement Specialist – Global Category Lead

About the role

We are looking for a strategic Indirect Procurement Specialist to lead global sourcing and procurement activities for indirect spend across the JAPAC region and beyond. You will shape category strategies, drive cost efficiencies and manage a diverse international supplier base while aligning with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for categories such as IT, logistics, facilities, HR, marketing and professional services.
• Partner with regional procurement teams (APAC, EMEA, Americas) and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and local execution.
• Lead RFP/RFQ processes, negotiate contracts and build a preferred global supplier network.
• Implement supplier performance frameworks (KPIs, SLAs, scorecards) and drive continuous improvement.
• Own global contract governance, collaborate with legal teams and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyse spend data to identify savings, track cost avoidance and provide insights to senior leadership.
• Identify and mitigate supplier and geopolitical risks, ensuring business continuity.
• Promote adoption of procurement systems (SAP Ariba, Coupa) and standardise processes across regions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or related field (MBA preferred).
• 3–5+ years of indirect procurement experience with global exposure.
• Proven track record managing global categories and cross‑regional teams.
• Strong understanding of international sourcing, contracts and supplier markets.
