About the role
The IT Specialist will support the delivery of IT services across Singapore and the wider Asia region, acting as the first point of contact for technical issues and user requests. Working closely with the Senior IT Specialist and global IT teams, you will diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity problems while contributing to technology initiatives that improve operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first‑line technical support by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, connectivity and user account issues.
- Manage support requests through the helpdesk process, ensuring effective tracking, resolution and escalation.
- Support IT asset management, including procurement, deployment, inventory tracking, licensing and retirement of equipment and software.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, SOPs, asset records and knowledge‑base articles.
- Monitor system and network performance, perform routine maintenance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist with implementation and adherence to cybersecurity controls, policies and best practices.
- Collaborate with regional stakeholders and the Group IT team in Italy to align with technology standards.
- Contribute to technology enhancement initiatives such as new tools, automation, AI‑related projects and digital transformation.
Required profile
- Knowledge of IT, information systems or related discipline acquired through education or practical experience.
- Ability to provide professional, customer‑focused first‑line support for hardware, software and network issues.
- Understanding of IT operations, end‑user computing and system administration processes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems and common business applications.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a continuous learning mindset.
- Effective communication skills to support users of varying technical proficiency.
- Experience with digital transformation, automation or technology projects is advantageous.
