About the role

The In‑Room Dining Coordinator is responsible for receiving, processing, and delivering in‑room dining orders and amenities, ensuring timely service and exceptional guest satisfaction. The role acts as a liaison between guests, kitchen, service, and housekeeping teams to guarantee smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and record in‑room dining orders, checking for dietary restrictions and special requests.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system and confirm with the kitchen before preparation.
• Monitor order preparation and delivery times to meet Forbes and LQA standards.
• Follow up with guests after delivery to confirm satisfaction.
• Coordinate the delivery of in‑room amenities using the Knowcross system and ensure they arrive before guest check‑in.
• Maintain inventory levels of amenities and communicate shortages to the chef.
• Close job requests in Knowcross once tasks are completed.
• Maintain a clean and organized office workspace and manage in‑room dining email correspondence.

Required profile

• Prior experience in the service industry, preferably in hospitality or hotel operations.
• Experience with administrative and secretarial duties.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
• Experience using Knowcross or similar hotel service management software.
• Inventory management and reporting skills.
