Instructor – Day Activity Centre & Sheltered Workshop

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Instructor to provide training support at our Centre for Adults. The role focuses on delivering engagement skills and structured programmes for beneficiaries in a Day Activity Centre and Sheltered Workshop environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engagement skills and structured training programmes for beneficiaries.
• Supervise and assist individuals using coaching, task breakdown, and behavioural support strategies.
• Create visual aids, task analyses, and structured routines to facilitate learning and skill development.
• Collaborate with beneficiaries, families, instructors, allied professionals, alumni, and community partners to support holistic care and engagement.
• Maintain programme documentation, progress records, and assist with operational planning and administrative duties.
• Support centre events, community initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts, demonstrating flexibility to meet programme and operational needs.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
• Passionate, proactive, and creative with a desire to make a positive community impact.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience working with clients with special needs.
• Administrative experience is advantageous.
