Intern, Events & Live Entertainment (Jan-Jun 2027)

About the role

Disney Live Events, part of The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia, is recruiting an office-based internship in its Singapore office for January to June 2027. The intern joins the team that creates, develops and produces high-standard live character events, supporting the Disney, Disney-Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars brands across Southeast Asia, India, Australia, New Zealand, Korea and Japan. The role also supports costuming facility management and resource management.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with key stakeholders so events run smoothly, character requirements are met and safety is not compromised, and work with vendors to keep projects on time and within budget
• Maintain an up-to-date regional database of performers and support the Assistant Manager of talent management with schedules and payments
• Support the Costuming department with costume operations and physical assets coordination
• Help the Team Coordinator with vendor contracts, event schedules, travel and accommodation bookings, visa applications, purchase orders, invoice processing and WBS creation
• Contribute creative ideas, complete one local live character event from start to finish, and share insights on social media trends

Required profile

• Undergraduate currently studying a bachelor's degree in Events Management, Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field, not yet graduated during the internship
• Available for full-time study Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm, between July and December 2026, with start and end dates stated in the resume
• Interest in event production or management, and an interest or fan mentality for Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel
• Strong guest service skills, ability to handle confidential information, and excellent written and spoken English

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Problem-solving, decision-making, prioritisation and strategic thinking
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment and ability to work with minimal supervision
