IT Desktop Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an IT Desktop Support Engineer to provide end‑user assistance for Microsoft 365 services on a 12‑month agency contract in Singapore. The role involves troubleshooting, ticket handling and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth operation of cloud‑based productivity tools.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line support for Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Log, investigate and resolve incidents and service requests, escalating when necessary.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and configuration changes across the M365 environment.
• Automate routine operational tasks using PowerShell scripts.
• Create and maintain tickets, documenting troubleshooting steps and resolutions in ITSM tools.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors to achieve timely issue resolution.
• Develop and update knowledge articles, SOPs and FAQs.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT Helpdesk or Service Desk support.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 fundamentals and support processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken Japanese with Japanese‑speaking stakeholders.
• Experience supporting a global user base.
