IT Manager (Operations)

About the role

The Operations IT Manager will lead the IT function across multiple office locations, providing strategic direction and day‑to‑day oversight. This role balances people leadership with governance of technology services, ensuring reliable and secure operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach the internal IT team, setting clear direction and performance standards.
• Oversee IT operations and services across all office sites.
• Define and drive the strategy for IT infrastructure, systems, applications and technology initiatives.
• Manage relationships with external IT vendors, service providers and technology partners.
• Supervise IT ticketing and support processes to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Establish and improve IT policies, processes and service standards.
• Plan and execute IT projects, system upgrades and improvements.
• Monitor IT performance, identifying opportunities for efficiency and better user experience.
• Ensure IT security, access management and compliance requirements are met.
• Control IT budgets, resources and vendor contracts.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience, including team leadership/management.
• Proven experience overseeing IT operations across multiple offices or locations.
• Strong background in managing external IT vendors and service providers.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and service‑management processes.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, systems and cybersecurity.
• Excellent stakeholder, leadership and vendor‑management skills.
