IT Operations Engineer – Systems & AWS (Capital Markets)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Operations Engineer to support and evolve the technology platform for a growing securities and capital markets organisation in Singapore. The role combines hands‑on system, network and cloud administration with day‑to‑day operational support, giving you ownership across a broad infrastructure stack.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for Windows Server, Linux, endpoints and networking issues.
• Administer and optimise the company’s AWS environment (compute, networking, storage, access management and monitoring).
• Maintain core services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID and Intune.
• Monitor infrastructure health, manage patching, backup, disaster‑recovery and overall operational resilience.
• Troubleshoot local network components including switches, firewalls, VPNs and VLANs.
• Assist with security‑related operational tasks and coordinate with regional teams and vendors.
• Gradually take responsibility for supporting trading and back‑office applications as the Singapore platform expands.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration or IT operations.
• Strong background in Windows Server administration; ability to support Linux environments.
• Proven experience managing AWS infrastructure across compute, networking, storage and security.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (switches, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs).
• Experience in financial services or other regulated environments.
