IT Ops Management Specialist

About the role

The IT Ops Management Specialist will monitor automated task schedulers, manage backup media, ensure data centre security, and provide after‑hours help‑desk support for CIMB Bank Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor automated task/job scheduler via Control‑M and run manual batch jobs according to schedule or ad‑hoc requests.
• Handle backup media – mounting, retrieving, cataloguing, and coordinating offsite storage.
• Monitor Data Centre CCTV and report unauthorized entries.
• Monitor servers, network and application availability and escalate alerts to relevant support teams.
• Respond to email alerts and security incidents, escalating breaches to the IT Operations Manager.
• Provide after‑office‑hours and non‑working‑day help‑desk support.
• Manage split password services and electronic keypress/CCTC systems.
• Carry out release management tasks using Aldon LMI/LME.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in IT or relevant certification.
• 2–3 years of experience in Data Centre operations, batch job processing, system alert monitoring, escalation, and tape management.

Required skills

• Control‑M (task/job scheduler).
• Aldon LMI/LME (release management).
