IT Project Manager – Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead critical technology initiatives for a fast‑growing financial services start‑up. The role requires close collaboration with technology, business, compliance and vendor teams to ensure successful delivery aligned with strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of IT projects, from initiation through implementation and post‑go‑live support.
• Define project scope, timelines, resources and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Manage stakeholder communication across business units, senior leadership and external partners.
• Identify risks, issues and dependencies, and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance frameworks.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure and vendor teams to drive execution.
• Track and report project progress, including KPIs, milestones and financials.
• Support change management and user adoption initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of IT project management experience within financial services (banking, insurance or fintech preferred).
• Proven experience delivering complex technology projects such as digital transformation, core systems, payments or data platforms.
