IT Support – 1-Year Renewable Contract

About the role

This position provides first‑line technical assistance to end‑users across the organisation. You will handle requests received via email, portal and telephone, ensuring timely resolution within agreed service targets.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to IT tickets, perform troubleshooting and initial diagnostics, including remote connections to user devices.
• Communicate progress clearly and politely, keeping users informed at each stage.
• Manage user accounts – creation, modification and deletion – for FTP, Active Directory and file permissions, and conduct profile clean‑up projects.
• Support collaboration applications such as Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business, GoToMeeting, Microsoft Outlook and email archiving tools.
• Carry out basic PC installations, configurations and routine maintenance.
• Perform any other ad‑hoc duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in computer support or IT operations.
• One or more recognised certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, MCP for Windows).
• Solid knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems (7, 8, 10, 11) and Microsoft Office suites (2013, 2016, Office 365).
• Basic understanding of physical networking is desirable.
