IT Support Engineer

About the role

The IT Support Engineer will provide day‑to‑day technical assistance to Satair employees, ensuring a stable and secure PC environment. You will handle incidents, service requests, and major incidents while collaborating with global service desks.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve user technical problems quickly and maintain a stable PC platform.
• Manage hardware and software inventory, procurement, and asset registers.
• Monitor and support automatic jobs, hardware interfaces, and external connections.
• Handle software licensing, printer and peripheral setup, and PC security (virus checks, disk encryption).
• Participate in 24/7 support, major incident coordination, and change/problem management.
• Create and share knowledge articles and provide user training on IT tools.
• Collaborate with other service desks and contribute to IT projects and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or at least 1 year of IT support experience.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Broad understanding of hardware, software, networking and communications.
• Familiarity with DHCP and DNS concepts.
