IT Systems Engineer (Microsoft 365/MS-102, Azure/AZ-104)

About the role

Our client, a leading provider of maritime energy solutions, is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to administer, deploy, and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including Intune and Microsoft Defender, while providing Level 2 support to over 100 users.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Intune, Microsoft Defender, and related security/compliance features.
• Provide Level 2 technical support and troubleshooting for more than 100 end‑users.
• Lead and coordinate IT infrastructure and technology improvement projects.
• Translate technical issues into clear, user‑friendly communication for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Manage firewall, network, and connectivity‑related support and administration.

Required profile

• Certification as Microsoft 365 Administrator and/or Azure Administrator (MS‑102 or AZ‑104).
• Minimum three years of L1/L2 support experience in mid‑size or larger organisations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 admin tools and endpoint management platforms such as Intune.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity essentials and best practices for corporate IT environments.
