Java Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance server‑side applications. You will work closely with other engineers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver reliable APIs and automated deployment pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Core Java, Spring Boot, RESTful and streaming APIs.
• Collaborate with front‑end teams to ensure seamless client‑server interactions.
• Participate in peer code reviews and design discussions to uphold code quality.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and features.
• Handle code deployments, releases, and operational tasks on a rotational basis, emphasizing automation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in modern Java and unit/integration testing frameworks such as JUnit.
• Experience working with version control (Bitbucket/Git) and agile tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Comfortable working in Linux environments and writing shell scripts.
• Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and collaborate in a dynamic team.
