Java Developer – Banking Solutions

About the role

Capgemini is looking for experienced Java Developers to join its banking solutions team. You will design, build, and maintain high‑performance backend services that support critical financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop Java services and robust, secure APIs using JDK 17+ and the Spring ecosystem.
• Implement micro‑services architecture, integrate with Kafka for event‑driven processing, and ensure data persistence with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Participate in code reviews, provide technical leadership, and influence architectural decisions.
• Maintain production support (L3) and ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and audit standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3‑7 years of hands‑on backend development experience using Java.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work in cross‑functional teams.
