Junior Baker (Full-Time)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Baker to join our team at Huwa Bakery in Singapore. In this full-time position you will coordinate daily bakery operations, train new staff and ensure our products are made safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange and assign daily tasks to supervisors to keep bakery operations running smoothly.
• Monitor employee attendance and evaluate work performance to maintain productivity.
• Conduct on-the-job training for new workers, ensuring they acquire the necessary baking skills.
• Perform regular maintenance inspections and minor troubleshooting of baking equipment to minimise downtime.
• Ensure full compliance with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) workplace safety regulations and Singapore Food Agency (SFA) food safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members to foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

Required profile

• Junior Executive level with a proactive, positive attitude.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow safety and food-quality procedures diligently.

Required skills

• Baking equipment maintenance and minor troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of MOM workplace safety regulations.
• Knowledge of SFA food safety standards.
