Junior Controller

About the role

0G Labs is seeking a Junior Controller to own the full accounting cycle for multiple entities across several countries. You will be responsible for accurate financial reporting, cash management, and ensuring compliance with Singapore statutory requirements and international accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month‑end/year‑end close for all entities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with SFRS, IFRS and, where applicable, US GAAP.
• Handle GST filings, corporate tax, statutory reporting with IRAS and ACRA, and coordinate external tax agents.
• Lead the annual audit process and act as the primary contact for external auditors.
• Design and enforce internal controls, finance policies and approval workflows.
• Oversee payroll, CPF contributions and employee expense processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash‑runway planning and partner with founders on spend and vendor contracts.
• Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline reporting and reconciliation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in a high‑growth startup.
• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field; CA (Singapore), ACCA or CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS, IFRS and exposure to US GAAP.
• Experience with GST, corporate tax and Singapore statutory compliance.
• Hands‑on audit experience, either from a public accounting firm or in‑house.
• Ability to design and implement internal controls from scratch.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or NetSuite.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills.
