Junior Project Manager – API & Payments (Banking)

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to support the planning, coordination and delivery of API and payments projects within the banking sector. The role involves working closely with clients, vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end planning and delivery of projects.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, internal teams and other stakeholders.
• Track project timelines, milestones, deliverables and dependencies.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, meeting minutes and action trackers.
• Organise project meetings and follow up on outstanding actions.
• Monitor project risks, issues and changes, escalating concerns when required.
• Assist with resource planning, scheduling and budget tracking.
• Ensure deliverables meet agreed requirements and quality standards.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and management.
• Support the Project Manager in handling multiple concurrent projects.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or project management.
• Experience working for a vendor, consultancy, system integrator or service provider (preferred).
• Familiarity with API/Swift concepts (preferred).
• Proven ability to coordinate with clients and internal delivery teams.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow up on deliverables.
