Junior Technical Production Executive (Live)

About the role

The Presenting Company (TPC) is seeking a Junior Technical Production Executive to support live, immersive and digital experiences. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on exposure to both office‑based technical planning and on‑site production work, paving the way to a future Technical Manager role.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in technical planning and execution of concerts, theatre, festivals and corporate events.
• Support sound, lighting, staging and audiovisual system set‑ups.
• Prepare stage plans, venue layouts and equipment diagrams using Vectorworks and AutoCAD.
• Read, amend, import and export DWG and PDF files for production drawings.
• Conduct venue inspections, site measurements and technical assessments.
• Create equipment lists, signal‑flow charts and setup plans.
• Help with load‑ins, rehearsals, show operations, changeovers and load‑outs.
• Provide backstage and stage‑management assistance when required.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or first‑job seeker with practical exposure to technical production through school projects, internships, volunteering or part‑time work.
• Strong curiosity about the intersection of physical production and digital technology.
• Willingness to experiment and learn new media tools.

Required skills

• Experience with Vectorworks for creating production drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and handling DWG files.
• Ability to work with PDF files for technical documentation.
• Basic understanding of sound, lighting and audiovisual systems.
